Welcome to WGA Equine!

Located on over 600 acres in Freeville, NY, The William George Agency for Children has maintained a well established equine program since the late 1970’s. The school utilizes the well documented benefits of equine assisted teaching as a catalyst for personal growth. Students participating in the equine program build self-esteem and self-confidence and learn responsibility and improved communication skills.

WGA Equine is fortunate to have a wide variety of well-bred horses on site. Horses are utilized in the recreational, work study and vocational programs. Participating students have the opportunity to work with all ages and types of horses, from weanlings to adults.

The WGA herd includes offspring from some of the best know lines of Arabian and Quarter Horse breeding, including Odyssey SC, Legacy of Gold, Dakkar el Jamaal, and Hollywood Dun It, to name but a few. Well-bred horses are available for sale at all times.

The staff at WGA Equine invite your inquiries! If you’re looking for a horse, give us a call.
